First 100 Local Jobs Plan
For an electrician or other local trade. This is a realistic route to the first 100 paid jobs: be visible locally, answer quickly, do good work, collect reviews, and earn referrals. It does not use Companies House.
Define the offer, customers, costs, marketing and sales targets before beginning the first-100-jobs activity.

1. Choose a local electrical offer
Begin with a job people genuinely search for: fault finding, an emergency call-out, an extra socket, a consumer-unit check, an EV charger quote, or landlord electrical safety work. State your area, qualifications and what happens next.
2. Be easy to find and contact
Have one simple trade website, a working phone number, a Google Business Profile, and a clear quote or booking route. Answer promptly or use the receptionist to capture the enquiry and call back.
3. Get the first local jobs
Tell friends, family, past work contacts, builders, letting agents and local businesses exactly what work you are taking on. Use local Facebook groups and community noticeboards only where their rules allow it.
4. Turn each job into the next job
After a good job, ask the customer for a Google review and a referral. Offer a simple referral thank-you only when a referred customer books and pays. Ask whether they know a neighbour, landlord or business that needs electrical work.
5. Build repeat work
Record every enquiry, quote, job and follow-up. Send honest reminders for quotes, annual checks and work that may be due later. Learn which local job types pay well and focus your advertising there.
Keep customer data secure, use honest claims, and respect marketing preferences and local advertising rules.
